Uniting Worlds Through Art: Collaborative Project to Decorate Social Welfare Centers

We are excited to announce our partnership with the Social Cooperative Enterprise “Prayer of Colours.” Together, we implemented a project aimed at decorating the Social Welfare Centres of Eastern and Western Attica. The project involved using paintings and “visual prayers” to create a connection between the Known and the Unknown, effectively serving as a bridge between different worlds, as stated by the artist behind the works, Hija la luz.

Funding for this initiative comes from the charitable foundation TIMA, renowned for its extensive and impactful support to individuals in their later years. Angeliki Voulgari, through her adept use of artistic communication, engages with the elderly residents of these centers. Her approach involves selecting and placing the artworks in a thoughtful and seamless manner.
