A musical Greek time travel for seniors by Hopeart

Hopeart held an artistic event where twenty seniors enjoyed a musical Greek time travel through the sounds of the ancient Greek lyra, mandolin, guitar, bendir and other instruments at the elderly care unit MAISON SOFOS (Athens, Greece) on 16 May 2023.

Hopeartists Vasilis Panagiotidis, Nikos Souliotis and Thanasis Kleopas, in collaboration with Angeliki Voulgari and accompanied by 2 volunteers trained in the “Art of Connection”, once again created a shared “connection experience” where the elderly, volunteers and staff were attuned to each other and enlivened by a current of Hope.

After all, art is only the pretext. People are the focus; people are important in every form of expression and at every age.
